I don't get any sound!
Some computers will not play any sound using this program. This problem can be
solved by downloading the full version of Max 5, on http://www.cycling74.com/.
(Instead of downloading "Max 5.0.8 Runtime (12 MB)",
download "Current version Max 5.0.8 with documentation (96 MB)".)
Open the micro-palette using the full (demo) version og Max.
Choose "Options" on the top menu, and then "DSP status...".
Check if the "Output Device" is set to "None". If this is the case, that is
probably why you don't get any sound. Choose an output device here, and try different
options until you get sound. Also, try different "Driver" options.
Hopefully, this problem will be fixed soon, so that you don't need the full Max 5 version to set an output device, instead you can change it in the micro-palette' itself.
